I feel kind of conflicted about this:
On June 10th 1991, Special Agent Dale Cooper entered the Black Lodge while his evil doppelganger exited. And we know from events in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me that Cooper would stay there for the next 25 years. And now it would appear that he's preparing to emerge with Twin Peaks creators David Lynch and Mark Frost tweeting simultaneously at 11:30am this morning that "That gum you like is going to come back back in style #damnfinecoffee
On the one hand, it is tough not to get excited at the prospect of more Twin Peaks.
On the other hand, I think it might be better if they just left it alone. The ending of the original series, while not satisfying in the traditional sense, was pretty great. Resurrecting the whole thing after this much time seems like, at best, a risky proposition.
