The New York Times this morning, on the decision last night by Judge Anne Donnelly to partially block Trump's executive order banning Muslim immigrants and refugees:
In a statement released early Sunday morning, the Department of Homeland Security said it would continue to enforce all of the president’s executive orders, even while complying with judicial decisions. “Prohibited travel will remain prohibited,” the department said in a statement, adding that the directive was “a first step towards re-establishing control over America’s borders and national security.”
As I was reading the updates on Twitter last night, I started wondering what would happen when Trump and his goons ignore the judge's order. Because of course, Trump and his goons are going to ignore the order. They can't back down or give in, because the minute they do, the con is up.
It's been, what? Ten days now?
